Delta starts Banja Luka shopping mall
Delta Real Estate has begun construction on Delta Planet, the developer's new shopping mall scheme in Banja Luka. The company held the cornerstone laying ceremony, an event attended by President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. Delta Planet is expected to represent an investment of €70m, with completion scheduled for late 2018. More than 500 people will work on construction of the mall, which will offer five movie theaters, 1,000 parking places, a hypermarket and numerous restaurants. Delta Real Estate has previously build shopping malls in Belgrade, Kragujevac and Podgorica as well as a residential project in Belgrade. The company plans to expand into the European Union and will open the InterContinental hotel in Ljubljana in September.
