Immofinanz plans new Serbian Stop Shop
Immofinanz has begun preparing land in the east Serbian town of Pozarevac for the construction of a new Stop Shop retail park. It's being built on land located between an Arriva Litas garage and a DIS supermarket. It would be Immofinanz's fifth Stop Shop in Serbia, as the investor has already completed three in Valjevo, Cacak and Nis. Two more are already being planned by Immofinanz, to be located in Vrsac and Lazarevac. Immofinanz is building on a 2.4 ha site it purchased and has designed an 8,000 sqm GLA center that will offer 230 parking spaces. City administration officials sold the Austrian company 80 acres of land for RSD 11.8m for the project, which is expected to provide new jobs for around 300 people. Completion of this new Stop Shop should be next spring.
