Marks & Spencer gives up all collaborations with textile and footwear factories in Romania
Less than a year ago, the British retailer Marks & Spencer, which also owns a fashion and a food stores division, worked in Romania with four suppliers, three of which produced clothes or shoes and one food. Now, the company has given up all collaborations with textile and footwear factories in Romania and has kept only the contract with Alka for food.
The Alka Group, which owns two factories in Romania, is present, both locally and for export in more than 40 markets on five continents. Marks & Spencer owns 1,500 stores in 62 markets, with sales of 9 billion pounds.
