Wetterbest fitted solar panels on the roof of its factory in Băicoi
Roofing manufacturer Wetterbest, bought last year by the Irish group Kingspan from TeraPlast, wants to reduce its carbon emissions, the first project completed in this regard being the endowment of a hall in Băicoi, Prahova, with solar panels.
The entire investment, made with E.ON, amounted to EUR 245,000 and provides a third of the energy needed by the company.
"Through this project, we want to continue the sustainability objectives of our group and participate in reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the factory. This is just a first step in reducing the company's carbon footprint, and we will develop other programs to support this goal in the future, "says Marian Pirvu, CEO of Wetterbest.
