AMISTA and J&T BANKA enter into strategic partnership for the Czech market
The investment company AMISTA, the largest domestic manager and administrator of qualified investor funds, and J&T BANKA have entered into a strategic partnership to offer investors the widest portfolio of qualified investor fund (FKI) services in the Czech Republic. The partnership is also reflected in the shareholder structure of the investment company, in which J&T BANKA took over the 9.9% stake of the founder Vít Vařeka. At the same time, the shareholders of the company become the director of AMISTA, Ondřej Horák, together with other managers, Petr Janoušek and Pavel Bareš. The significant change in the shareholder structure reflects not only the synergy with the J&T Group, but also the continuity represented by the current management. The founder of AMISTA, Vít Vařeka, continues to be a minority co-owner.
"I am very pleased to announce today the entry of such a prestigious partner as J&T BANKA into our company. Thanks to the new partnership, AMISTA will be able to focus even more intensively on its goal of providing investors in the Czech market with the best services in managing funds of qualified investors, "said Vít Vařeka, founder of AMISTA, adding:" I am also pleased that managers who have brought amazing energy and know-how to the company during the fifteen years of its operation, and thus stand behind its success."
Ondřej Horák, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMISTA, is also looking forward to the new partnership and challenges, adding to its founder: “I am looking forward to a new stage in the life of our company. The popularity of qualified investors' funds is constantly growing, the volume of investments has doubled in the last five years. Together, we want to move this segment further to the complete satisfaction of even the most demanding clients," concluded Ondřej Horák.
The market partners want to offer tailor-made services for demanding clients. He believes that the merger of these two companies will bring current and future investors in AMISTA funds, above all, an expansion of the service portfolio.
"We believe that with the growth of private clients' interest in investments, other specialized FKI funds will be created. As an independent advisor and administrator, AMISTA has a strong team and many years of experience in establishing and operating funds of qualified investors, thus offering an ideal background for the emerging FKI. We believe that the partnership also opens up new opportunities for FKI fund founders to promote, raise capital and finance investments," said Štěpán Ašer, CEO and Member of the Board of Directors of J&T BANKA.
