Finep January sales speed up
Finep turned out a record level of residential sales in January. The numbers have jumped 30 percent compared to January 2011 with the developer claiming some of the customers were buying five flats at once. Investment stability was the main reason, according to Finep, with two room flats proving to be the biggest hit. Sales had increased by 30 percent year on year in December. Surprisingly, the VAT increase as of January 1 has not seemed to slow down sales says Finep’s sales director Vladimír Zuzák, though this has been aided by price discounts.
